Description
Q Wealth Partners is looking for a talented marketing intern to assist in the day-to-day operations of our marketing department along with contributing to our online marketing presence across our portfolio of Partners and coordinate the marketing day-to-day. You will be responsible for collaborating with the team and our Partners, responding to followers, and assisting with day-to-day marketing tasks. You will work with us to manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.
As a part of the social media team, we expect you to be up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement. You will also be tasked to assist with the execution of our marketing calendar for each of our partners, which may include managing deliverables, reporting, speaking with clients directly, etc.
Elements of the job:
- Assist in the generation and sharing of our social content (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news) for various partners
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
- Collaborate with Partners to execute their marketing visions
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
- Contribute to social media accounts’ design, keeping it up to date with local trends for services provided
- Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute daily marketing tasks and deliverables including planning and reporting
Requirements:
- Interest and proficiency with social media
- Ability to ideate creative content (text, image, and video)
- Solid knowledge of all social media platforms
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Sprout social or similar social media software, and Microsoft Office, (specifically Excel) is an asset
- Degree/Diploma in Marketing or relevant field
- Marketing experience is considered an asset
- Please do not apply if you have worked at a bank, or private wealth company
- Must currently reside in Toronto, ON Canada or GTA
