Graphic Design Intern

Description

We are seeking a Marketing Graphic Design Intern for a full-time hybrid position based in Toronto, ON. In this role, you will support the day-to-day graphic design needs of our Partners and assist in developing websites and design assets for our clients.
You will have the opportunity to build a professional portfolio by working on real design projects such as social media content, presentation decks, website designs, and marketing materials. This role also offers valuable insight into how brand design supports both marketing strategy and the overall client experience. Strong performance could open the door to future opportunities with our team.
Your primary responsibilities will include conceptualizing and executing creative designs for clients’ websites and social media platforms, ensuring all visuals align with their branding and deliver a seamless digital experience. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your creative skills, work with industry-standard tools, and make a meaningful impact on diverse projects in a collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities
 
1. Website, Email & Digital Experience
·      Design, test, and enhance websites and emails to ensure a seamless user experience.
·      Regularly update and maintain website content, including text, images, multimedia, and code, ensuring consistency and functionality.
·      Implement new features and functionality to improve performance and engagement.
·      Test and optimize code for compatibility across browsers and devices.
2. Creative & Marketing Support
·      Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm, design, and execute creative projects and promotional materials.
·      Design and format presentation decks, reports, and other marketing collateral.
·      Create visually engaging graphics for social media campaigns across multiple platforms.


Our Ideal Candidate
  • Holds a diploma in web design and development with experience building websites for corporate clients.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) as well as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Skilled in front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experienced with platforms like WordPress and Webflow.
  • Knowledgeable about current web standards and design trends.
  • Creative, open-minded, and eager to embrace new ideas.
  • Adaptable and enthusiastic about learning new tools and techniques.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
  • Enjoys collaboration, contributes innovative ideas, and seeks opportunities to improve processes.
  • Capable of balancing multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
