Junior Help Desk Analyst

Q Wealth Partners is seeking a dedicated Junior Help Desk Analyst to join our HQ office in a full-time hybrid role. This position focuses on delivering exceptional support to HQ staff and partner staff located across Canada. An ideal candidate is someone with strong communication skills, a client-centric mindset, and at least co-op experience in systems administration/IT. This role offers a collaborative work environment, opportunities for growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, forward-thinking firm. 
 
What You Will Do

  • Triage helpdesk tickets
  • Act as the main resource for all client-side related hardware/software installation, configuration, upgrades and maintenance
  • Perform daily support, monitoring and administration tasks for a fleet of Windows/MacOS devices
  • Setup laptops and peripherals for local and remote offices
  • Provide IT support to all users in the partnership
  • Support MFA, password resets, and authentication troubleshooting
  • Perform onboarding/offboarding tasks
  • Maintain and update internal knowledge-base
  • Assist the team with office infrastructure projects
  • Provide occasional after-hours support for urgent issues
  • Occasional travel to partner offices located in the GTA and across Canada
  • Other duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • College diploma in Information Systems/Technology or equivalent experience/education
  • Minimum co-op work experience is preferable
  • Troubleshooting skills in Windows 10/11/MacOS
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Familiar with support ticketing systems, CMDB, asset management
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of apps
  • Able to provide basic desktop and general application troubleshooting
