We’re in search of an enthusiastic person with a positive attitude to join our Wealth Management team as an Account Administrator/Client Service Representative.

Based out of our head office in North York, this position is eligible to work from home up to 3-4 days per week on a permanent basis with the aide of the best technology, cyber security, and cloud-based platforms.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience working at a securities brokerage.
  • Experience with client account documentation and administration at a financial services company.
  • Client service experience with outstanding oral, written and in-person communication skills.
  • Pro-active, service-oriented problem solver with ability to multi-task and perform professionally under pressure.
  • Knowledge of various types of investment accounts and related documentation (i.e. Corporate, Trust, RRSP, RRIF, RESP, TFSA, FHSA,RDSP, etc.).
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, CRM software, portfolio management and billing systems.
  • Knowledge and application of AML/FATCA procedures. Past training an asset.
  • You will work closely with our Portfolio Manager teams across the country and our custodial partner with NBIN in order to service and manage existing and future clients and provide administrative support.
  • Learn and operate business systems, operations, onboarding requirements and procedures related to account administration, client reporting, and management fees.
  • Create a welcoming environment for clients, prospective clients and partners.
  • Assist clients in completing account documentation, liaise with custodial/back office team to set up client’s account structure, track transfers etc.
  • Manage inbound inquiries for the Client Service team through our ticketing system, and provide oversight for account corrections/reconciliation, inquiries, account opening, account performance, banking, our portfolio accounting system d1g1t, KYC and client information changes, money movement, transfers, name changes etc., while maintaining services levels and documenting interactions.
  • Ongoing relationship management with our partners, including servicing of daily ad-hoc client requests, complex account management with RESP, RSP, TFSA Corrections, RIF/LIF Modifications and transfers.
  • Identify workflow improvements and training opportunities to continue to scale the department as we grow through new partner transitions and provide efficiencies with the continued deployment of the QCentral suite of technology.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers, as required.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and Code of Conduct and Ethics.
  • Follow security and safeguarding procedures and apply appropriate due diligence for the prevention of loss due to fraud, counterfeiting, money laundering or defalcation in accordance with the Firm's policies.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
  • Stay current on all company initiatives and communications.
  • Working in a team environment, sharing new information and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Other responsibilities as dictated by the needs of the business in the areas of client services.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products, Adobe, DocuSign.
 
 Preferred:
  • Prior experience with NBIN back office is an asset
  • Knowledge of Excel an asset

Compensation

$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
